The Just Anger

I am a businessman and one thing I can tell you about it that you can’t afford of be angry and you want your customers angry with whatever are you selling. My point? We will see

Although almost all the religions in the world press for fact that the world exist because someone with supreme power want it to exist. Also, the destruction of the world will also be called by the same God. Moreover, it is also to be taken into account that same religions also say that god or a part of God resides in us as well.

The fact that is accepted almost all the religions is that nothing goes without the wish or permission of God.

Metaphorically asking will you kill your own child? If yes then I think God’s anger is Just.

Now coming to the main point The Just (right) Anger.

Anger is the basic instinct of human nature, and it brings aggression into expression in a rather cruel way. With the advances of race and society we can say that the form in which anger is expressed has changed considerably, we are more subtle in expressing anger on a generalized scale, or on the other side we have seen act of anger in which a single entity or person has done severe damage, which was considered impossible back in 1900.

The justification of anger is a thing which is as abstract as modern art. You can derive your own conclusion and it may only be partially right. Even right Questions look like wrong when referenced to a special circumstances, there is no universal guidelines.

And this is what I am trying to convince. That there is no justification of Actions done under the influence of Anger.

All of us face the time when our impulse ask us to take action, which can have drastic result in our life. But consider this in most of our movies (if we assume that movies reflect the generalized mood of cinema) reflect that hero actually fight villain when he is very angry.

Does that anger falls under the category of Just? Because someone hurt you and you retaliate and beat that person in return will that anger qualify for Just Anger?

The Govt. when face the Tremendous task of showing patience in front of a agitation, fails and use force against its own people. They argue that this is affecting the bigger population. But here the question remains the same. Does this anger qualify for Just (right) Anger?

In fact the action of State as an Authorized killer in the name of the justice can’t be called justice when the state itself calls that it act upon the path set by someone who had followed the path of God.

The Example of whole Muslim world and Vatican and Bible following world is an example.

Moreover the offence of one man can be the act of urgency to another man, even it can be act of self-defense, or act done in unstable state of mind. As we all know Anger is the state when person is not really oneself. And no matter what happens that anger can’t be Just (right) anger universally.

All the above instance prove that when human evolved into some complex society- city- dwelling creature, the emotional fabric which hold us is so flexible that it covers all the actions and the irony is the appearance of this fabric i.e. emotions is such that we feel that there is no emotions left in someone while that person is simply acting on his own anger (which can be expressive in the form of hatred)

I can say there is No Just anger ( as opposite to most religions which says that the world will be doomed by apocalypse as we are sinner and God will destroy the world as a result of overloading of sins)

Even God can’t explain the Justification of anger itself.

We the (Helpless) People and Them the (mighty) Government

The Political Drama which is being played almost everywhere is simple amusing. Amusing because it is telling a story of betrayal. Yes, Government acting like a wolf in the skin of a sheep. Metaphorically speaking it is exactly the scenario when your protector becomes your predator. 

Look at the conditions around you and ask yourself why there is nothing being done to tackle the US Debt Scenario. Why Govt is holding a nation at ransom? It is so common that some government does even bother to ask their citizen about what they want. All of this in the name of Democracy. 

When intelligent men (does not matter of which nationality) does made the constitution, and set the guidelines to guide the management of the country about how to help people progress, they gave us a fair idea that politicians and leaders should be more concerned about progress of people which include all section of the society. 

Sometimes I wonder if those politician really consider that society consist of real people, as it is evident when they form a policy they are more concerned about numbers. They fail to see the emotional side of their own constituency and the only concern which remains is how to earn more money. This is more evident when you see President of United states implementing OBAMACARE or affordable care act. In India, it is NREGA. There are so many implementations which are not people centered but money centered. People Who are high up in the system and had access to luxuries fails to understand the condition of real people at the ground level.
These decision taken by selected few like granting the licence of a mine, calculating minimum support price of the essential commodities, price of the diesel ( developing countries) and  setting regulation on labor etc. This list is endless.

We understand that Dictator Regime does not have any concern about the public mindset. But to topple the Govt. and people of one's country, it is must that the public or part of public itself support the Dictator at the first hand. Without a good support in a bigger population (say millitary), a person cant not topple the existing government. Similarly Monarchy needs support from its subjects and without the support of the machinery, which practically runs the management of the country no Dictatorship or Military can survive.

Recent example of Arab Spring, and China's Revolt has shown that no Govt can suppress the voice of people for forever. But still we can see that lots of Democracies, who are proud on them selves are putting the business first and all in the name of the progress. Their policy making is not favored in the side of common people but for the Businessman and contractors. Also the major associations which assist government in policy making represent Business and Capitalistic Mindset which at the end are concerned about their own fat paychecks.

Now Look at the Govt Itself, any recent decision of any govt in the world be it INDIA, USA, GREECE, IRELAND, FRANCE it is the pocket of common man who is at stake, not of politician. No Court of Law convicted those politician who had done the financial crime, in fact no body charged President Bush and Obama for mass-murder in IRAQ and Afghanistan. Half of 2008 meltdown senate is still active in politics. And in India same politician who are convicted for serious crimes are made fit to run for election.

Common man today is fighting all the time for its own survival, yes survival from loans, mortgages, taxes and all. He does not have time to think about the Politics and bloody policymakers. This is how Government play with us, they make us chase own own tail and get into tailspin.

there is No solution to this problem as the history suggest that  this game will continue till the end, but governments can be more sensitive by including society in decision making and hence empowering people.
Till then it will always be a We the (Helpless) People and Them the (mighty) Government

NaMo, RaGa and the Great Indian-i-sation of American Life

There is lot of furor over PappuPedia (for Rahul gandhi) and Feku ( feku.in for Narendra Modi) in India now a days as both of them present a promise and determination to get the work done.
or  I should probably rephrase that into "Both RaGa and NaMo are excellent source of Boardroom and Drawing room entertainment."

The reticent nature of the RaGa and exactly opposite nature of the NaMo has put the Secular people of India in a great jeopardy. RaGa is from a great family whose history and contribution to India's Ascend and Decent (Recent Corruption ) cant be questioned but he lacks as basic understanding of how things work on ground where as NaMo is from a background which has given him a great understanding of what needs to be done on the ground level.
That may be the reason why Narendra Modi had been successful in Gujarat. His Style of Dictative measures has left the opposition crying for foul play but since he knows how to tackle the people as well as opposition he has got results.
In the case of RaGa, He lacks this style but this has been compensated by a extremely loyal top brass of the AICC, who is eagerly waiting for him to accept the leadership.

The biggest democratic drama in the world has already been started and with time it will only be getting worse in terms of personal attacks on Politicians by the Politicians and for the Politics. Both parties are in unique position as BJP has openly declared a PM candidate who has a blight on his track record as in form of communal violence and riots, on the other hand Congress (Indian National Congress) is in more difficult situation. She has not declared a PM candidate, and its principal leader Sonia Gandhi can't assume the post as being of foreign origin ( birth place Italy), she has to overcome the sentiment of being an outsider. Moreover Public is guessing about RaGa accepting the responsibility of PM i.e. "will he do it or not", and this is where the problems arise.
In  last two years there have been lots of audits and in that lots of scandals have been unearthed and had tarnished the Leadership of congress. Now it has one good leader who had charisma to lead from the front, but has not been named the leader yet, which makes the whole thing confusing from a stand point of public.
Public has to choose between a Newly Secular NaMo  led BJP and Left-centric leader-less Congress, who have been brought to ground by its own leaders.

More over the whole Second Term of the NDA Govt has been a showcase of stalled and decision less govt, PM was crippled by his own allies and legislators, most of his ministers were known for throwing public raging comments than to do work. Hence people start talking about measures to register NOTA(none of the above) option in elections(which has been mandated by the supreme court).

Now here comes the American angle as nothing is complete without mentioning USA. So some really intelligent people started calling out reform in parliamentary system  and to change our PM led Govt to President led Govt, to put a stable president who can take decision and make things work. Current time is the Best time to learn that Even Presidential system is faulty and President's own party will not support him when he needs them most.
At the end it is same everywhere, in parliamentarian system of Governance. Govt is highly unstable and it leads to cajole of Offices and Bribes and hence less-work get done on ground, where as in presidential system it is crippled by personal agenda of legislators.

Now this relates with Indian Condition well as Both Leaders of Both parties have charisma, ability to lead. But the racicent nature of Rahul Gandhi is making his Supporters to loose confidence and NaMo's suporters to gain momentum. Now it would be interesting to see,  how a riot tarnished political leader who is riding high on newly found Financial Success of his home state handle much more complex problem related to Indian Demographics and for RaGa it would be to come out into front and lead his supporters to win the lost trust of people.

The Elusive nature of Life

Well lately i think i have been through a lot. we all go through a lot, almost all the time and sometime our plate is so full that we do not even have time to think about what we are doing and how we are doing in this race. 

The constant bombardment of the information which overwhelms is simply amazing and absurd too. After all why we a want a car when we do not really require it. why we want to drink alcohol when we all know that it is harmful and also subjected to abuse of the body. 

Wait let’s start from the start. 

We humans evolved over a long period of time and we had this tendency that we just can’t stop and wait. The way society had evolved sometimes surprises me and some time it make me sick as well.(literally, the new kinds of deadly pathogens which was not there before; are now there)

Now look around yourself, what do you see ? Switch on the TV what do you see? Take a walk around neighborhood, may be subway or bus or anything. What I see around is lots and lots of aspirations. People aspiring to become someone else, like the ones shown in the advertisements. They aspire for the calm and gentle, sometimes flashy and Hip sometimes challenging surrounding environment. 

In fact the advertisement if to be believed, these ads are made after so much of research in to the psychology of the targeted audience that they reflect the general mood of the age group. 

My point is not the advertisement even it is not about how our mood swings. I will get to it, please be patient. 

Now lets take another example first to understand the depth of the problem. We all live in a society, which not on comprises of Humans but of so many things and each one of us is different from one another in so many prospects (other than 0.1% of DNA). But what combines us is the will power of survival, to live and to reproduce. 

These three basic instincts makes us more animal than animal themselves. Animal do not destroy the total habitat of the other species (yeah please leave Dino crushing an ecosystem of another species) 

What i am trying to say is that do you still fight to survive, do you still have to think about of your survival every day?? 

So the question is now what do you aspire for everyday? Let’s say do you aspire for your home? if yes then ask why? Do you aspire for a wife? Then ask why ? 

what i found out is that i personally do not fight for survival every day, that basic instinct we had lost or is being modified into something else for most of the city dwelling- internet surfing generation. 

So what do we want? Most of us want a peaceful yet happening life(which is again a paradox), where we have to face challenges but of subtle nature, where we know for sure that we are not facing the race for survival. that is what i understood from those advertisement 

From Sanitary napkins to super Luxurious Yachts, (if i leave certain categories of ads) most of the information which we receive is about out aspiration for something, which is yet to achieve. 

But at the same time it is what i had observed that even after achieving that we Human beings are not happy. The illusion of happiness or the charm of happiness wears out pretty fast and we try to aspire for furthermore which turns into greed. 

In fact what started from bare survival is now turned into greed and knows no end this emotion, this instinct actually defines the Elusive nature of life that you can never get to that point at which you say I have had enough. Now is the time i need to stop and put all of this to an end. Even if you try to say so, you are just switching the areas of your greed earlier you may have wanted a bigger house but now you want a bigger plaque of your name on the front wall of charity house. As we have evolved as society out emotions has also evolved about our survival. Now being alive is no more survival, but being in a society class is survival, Getting to higher class is called living your life and to reproduce you want to become Alpha in your class so that you get the best female. Now all of this happens inside an Ecosystem which is result of complete and utter absurd inflow of information. 

We choose people as life partners based on how much wealthy they are, completely sidelining the evaluation of their capabilities whether physically or mentally (actually our evaluation is all about money now). Our desire for exclusivity is nothing afar from becoming alpha male/female. 

We invented in the circle and after inventing it we started running in circles. First we want all the eventful life in which we face new thing daily, then when we get that we came to know that is not what we wanted (reason may vary but end result do not) and we starts aspiring for something else which is something else and when we reach to that point we come to know that our initial position was better as we are logically equal to the start. and in nutshell this is what i say Elusive nature of life. I know it is jumbled, not very well written but if you had read this and are not confused then i should say you have got guts! 

The concept of beauty

Recently I have been through a thought provoking journey through the state of Jharkhand, which is not very much developed and is majorly a Coal producing state of India; and in its own accord a Major Energy Backbone of Country.

In fact I was so intrigued by the Beauty of the state that i decide to write something about it. Upon giving it a thought ( though not much thought was required) i thought why not to write the basic first.

So i started to record my thoughts on the Concept of beauty. Why we perceive beauty? and More over what should be called beautiful ? why certain things which are called Beautiful are Not so Beautiful for others and people often changes their choice of Beauty. Is the concept of the beauty so unstable or is it dependent upon the Learning which a Human Being undergoes since comes into this world? Or is there a General and Absolute ( at the same time) scale of beauty? if yes then how can i relate the beauty in an art piece and Beauty of a natural Landscape? These are the tip of the iceberg, which means i have several hundred question about beauty. Like Why a beauty form like a Girl's cant be measured with Beauty of Landscape?

The answer of these question lies in the basic truth  that is being that "we have some things hard wired in our brain and some things are which we learn and give the next generation as hard wired perception" example is perception of the art form which we learn to appreciate from the learning ( which we may learn from any body) and another example of natural Heritable perception of beauty is Landscapes of nature. Nearly everybody likes the landscapes in certain degree.

Another example of the hardwired perception towards Beauty is the soothing effect of the Music. Now most of the people will say how music can be beautiful? well beauty is not to be seen but perceived. Some Child like the certain kind of music while sleeping and certain other type of the children may like totally different type of the music while sleeping.

These kind of perception which is there since birth can be due to embryonic learning or may be transferred from parents to child through certain genes. but my point is Type Two perception of beauty,

While i traveled I had came across several types of persons ( or of several Ethnic nature) these were local tribes, City dwelling - ipod/smartphone clad creatures, City dwelling - Businessman and many more.

I had been into many discussion about how magnificent was the Cloud Formations and How Beautiful was the Village - Local tribal girls and in one particular discussion i came across a group who was discussing the greatness of the God's Beauty ( Human Beings) over the Natural Beauty ( Landscapes).
I being a photographer was moved by this discussion and tried to decide which one is great and well i failed miserably as i could not relate the abstract  Beauty of both things, but may be you guys can.

Struggle of a child's life.

If it is not a miracle, then it should be declared a feat of no equal. I am talking about the journey of a Indian citizen from his childhood to early adulthood as lots of paradoxes are induced in his life by multiple polarized school of thoughts.

Those who have this special privilege of getting born in India and that too in a middle class, God fearing home, I must say he should be honored with highest award possible on this earth, let us see why.

When a person getting born in this country, any state, no matter if it is village, town or city he has to go through the all of the life cycles and paradoxes of which only few I  am going to describe.

When a child attains the age of the 2 -3 yrs, his curiosity starts to build up, he wants to know, and to experiment about the things. So parents, and teacher alike, tell him the first tale of fear to make him comply to their school of thoughts. He is taught to be fearful of darkness, of people who wander here and there, of far places and all.

Yet in school books teaches to be fearless. All his childhood heros are fearless, I remember mine FLASH GORDON, HE MAN, SPIDERMAN, SUPERMAN and many more.

Second, while child always wants to know more, most of the time teachers and parents instead of quenching their thirst of knowledge, tells them they are too small to understand things.

While all our books, our ideals talk about getting knowledge and wisdom from elders, so it is elders who do not want to share.

When a child want to play with the big boys (parents and all) they simply refuses because of lack of time, hence (child) have to play videogames.

So my point is the society expect exactly opposite of what they teaches to us. It taught us to fear, so we started fearing  Govt, people who do wrong things, starts fearing even walking on road alone, darkness and anything and everything, while when gaining adulthood IT WANTS US TO BECOME FEARLESS! What a joke.

It( society) taught "If everyone is doing a  thing, then I can do that as well", while it expect us to live life like "No matter what others do, I will do what is right"

It taught us to live alone, now they want us to live in family. When we required time they(parents) was working and running after money, now they require time and we are running after money. Yet they want us to stick to moral grounds.

List is quite long, I can write a book on this (But too boring! )

So at the end I am here to conclude that a child’s life is full of paradoxes; society teaches him exactly opposite of what it wants him to be. ! Think about it.

Tragedy of already traumatized victim of Union Carbide ( Now Dow Chemicals) leak.

It has already been more than 20 years, since that disastrous leak, had claimed thousands of innocent lives in their sleep, and yet left dreadful years of horror infested life for those who survives, and now to add to misery, pharma company are testing unapproved drugs on those people.

I have already lost the power of  being surprised by any act of negligence by the Indian Govt, as it has already crossed the limits of the insensitivity.

I do not understand; which part is more painful, people still waiting for the relief check of 50,000 or Rs 50,000 as relief amount in it self.

But that is not why I am writing to you all. The point is "today those who lived in 1984 are victim, tomorrow we who lives in 2012 will be victim".

Is it  really necessary to play victim of circumstances? or of Govt/civic body/MPs/State's negligence? well the answer is not of cource, but only on papers. Had we protested  as strongly as we protested for Ram janma Bhoomi, then we could have at least adequate compensation from DOW chemicals. It provokes the strongest sentiments to see that our fellow citizens are treated as guinea pigs.

The fresh misery for the survivors of the tragedy is created by pharma cos by testing the unapproved drugs on them, all by the name of testing, which is un ethical by the nature. By doing this companies are not only breaking the protocalls and guidelines but putting the risk on the life of poeple.

Now this is not the single problem these people are facing, almost all of them who survived are facing severe medical issues. Govt never provided insurance cover to them so that they can afford at-least medical expenditure.  They were subject to the corrupt local babus who hoarded up the relief amount in their personal accounts.

Also it brings my deepes anger to see that till this point govt ( who is by the people) is not even thinking to help those citizens who elected it in power.

let us make a change in the society, by thw way we want to, and we already know the answer to this. may be we all differ in our answer, but one thing is sure if today it is bhopal who is suffering, tomorrow it may be Delhi, or may be Mumbai, or hyderabaad.
